I only had 3 days but I could have gone around for a whole week with so much to see and do, I really loved Yorke Peninsula! Also not far from Adelaide, really an ideal destination for solo travellers. 🙂

There are a LOT more things to do on the Yorke Peninsula if you have a little more time as well – like visiting the historic mining site at Moonta, spotting seals and dolphins from the coastal drive along the bottom and snorkelling from one of the jetties to see the leafy sea-dragon! My favourite spot was Streaky Bay on the Eyre peninsula, however the trip uncovered some beautiful locations especially if you like seafood.
