Only thing is, since it doesn’t fly into Adelaide (too small to handle it, I believe) we transferred to a 737 ay Singapore (not good!) … but, on the way back, we flew to Melbourne, and got an A380 to London from there. … maybe we shoud have gone via Melbourne on the way out, too? In the past, we have stopped over at Singapore and Hong Kong, and we’re thinking of a stopover at Dubai next time out.

Hi Gev, indeed Emirates have excellent timetable for flights from Europe to Australia, making it easy to recover from jetlag as you get there either late in the evening or early in the morning.

They have some very hands routes as she lives 4 hours by train from any London airport.
