Who Our Tours Are For
We design our tours for people who care about how they travel, not just where they go. They’re for travellers over 50 who are curious, active, and engaged — and who value depth, connection, and thoughtful experiences.
✔️ Often travel solo, but enjoy sharing experiences with like-minded travellers who share the same values.
✔️ Prefer small, intimate groups and real conversation over crowds
✔️ Value local insight, a slower pace, and time to absorb each place
✔️ Appreciate care and support before and during the journey
✔️ Want to create meaningful memories and lasting connections
Most of our guests arrive solo — and quickly feel part of the group.
How We Travel
We don’t travel to tick places off a list. We travel to spend meaningful time, go deeper, and connect — with the places we visit, the people who live there, and the group we travel with.
✅ Small groups (8–10 guests), space to connect and move easily
✅ Local expertise, guides, producers, families, and artisans
✅ Hands-on experiences, food, farming, wine, walking, shared meals
✅ Human pace, time to absorb, explore and to rest
✅ Care beyond logistics⎯support begins before the journey starts
What Guests Say
“Michela is a unique tour organiser. The preparation and thought she puts into her holidays is personal and very special to experience. The small group is a rare holiday experience and not to be underestimated. For solo women travellers over 50, it will open your world as it did mine. I highly recommend any tour Michela puts together and would not hesitate to join another with her.” ⎯ Kerrie L., Sydney Australia
As a solo traveller, this trip offered the ideal way to explore a new place while feeling completely supported and included. The logistics, access to unique locations, and group camaraderie made this an experience I would not have been able to replicate on my own. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of the trip and would enthusiastically recommend it to anyone—especially solo travellers—looking for an enriching and well-organised adventure. I hope to join you again on another adventure. ⎯ Stacy S., Hypoluxo, USA
Michela has a very warm, engaging personality and she brings everybody together in such a way that very quickly you feel like you are travelling with a group of friends. She is also excellent at selecting the most interesting towns, organising adventurous activities and choosing fabulous restaurants. I wouldn’t hesitate to go on tour again with Michela and highly recommend Rocky Travel⎯ Donna H., Sydney Australia
