7 nights / 8 days Crete Tour Itinerary
- DAY 1 - Arrival in Chania, Crete - Welcome Dinner 8.30 pm
Individual arrival to Crete airport* and check it at our hotel in Chania. In the evening welcome dinner in one of Chania's best restaurant for traditional Cretan food. (For incoming airport, we recommend Chania Airport). - DAY 2 - Exploring Chania best heritage and cultural sites + tasting of local produce
After breakfast, we have a 3-hour guided walking tour through all heritage and cultural places in Chania. We end our tour with lunch at a local Restaurant with fresh local produce in a beautiful location setting. - DAY 3 - Visit to organic Honey & Olive Tree Farms + South-West Coast Beach Exploration
We visit a honey farm, plus the most beautiful Cretan olive tree farm and we taste their local produce. In the afternoon we spend time at one of the Crete's best beaches, known for its pinky sands. We end the day with dinner at one of the most well-known organic farm restaurants of West Crete. - DAY 4 - A Gorge Hike in South Crete and Cretan Villages & Beaches
Today we go for a fabulous 3-hour gorge hike. For those not into hiking we have alternative activities, such as spending time in a lovely Cretan village and relax its beaches. After lunch, we head to Rethymno. After checking in at the hotel, we have dinner together in a traditional restaurant of Rethymno. - DAY 5 - Exploration of Preveli Palm Beach + Walk to the Gorge and the Big Waterfall
After breakfast, we have a guided tour of Rethymno. Late morning we head to the South Crete's gems, with Prevely Palm Beach and its beautiful setting. Kourtaliotiko Gorge and the Waterfall swim is offered as an optional activity, as well as an half-day of relax in Rethymno for those who prefer to have free-time. - DAY 6 - Knossos Palace Heraklion - And a dive deep in traditional farms
Today after breakfast we head to Knossos Palace, the heritage icon of Crete. After that we head to a Cretan winery where we have a guided tour of the estate, followed by a cocking demo and a lovely lunch + wine tastings. In the afternoon we head back to Heraklion where we check in at our hotel. In the afternoon free time in Heraklion with a short guided walk of the city centre. - DAY 7 - Visit of local wineries near Heraklion
In the morning we visit an old iconic mountain village of Crete. We then visit one of the most famous organic farms of Europe, where we have 1 hour of farm guided tour, watch live food preparation, have lunch there and dive deep in the local Cretan traditions. We end our tour with a farewell dinner together in the organic farm* traditional restaurant. (from the same organic farm owners). - DAY 8 - End of Tour and transfer to Heraklion or Chania AirportA
After breakfast, the tour ends as we head to the Heraklion airport and/or to the Chania Airport for our trip continuation or flight back home.

What the Crete Tour Price Package does not include
❌ Flights Connections To/From Chania/Heraklion on Crete. You must arrive in Crete on 15th September for the Welcome Dinner.
❌ Professional Guide Tour of Knossos Palace (Group Fee to be paid locally).
❌ Meals as not stated in the "what's included" (Average price for a meal in Crete is about 15-30 €).
❌ Entry fee to the Hike Gorge National Park (5 €/person for those participating in the hike).
❌ Sunbeds at the beaches (15 € per person. Optional).
❌ 2% surcharge for payment of deposit with credit or debit card. (alternatively you can pay by bank transfer).
❌ International Travel Insurance for Crete/Greece. We offer advise on the best travel insurances companies.
❌ Everything which is not listed below "tour price includes" is automatically excluded.

This small-group tour of Crete is designed for travellers who enjoy walking, are curious, and want to feel connected while exploring Crete at a relaxed pace. You’ll likely feel comfortable on this tour if you:
- Enjoy moderate daily walking (about 1–3 hours per day), including nature paths and some uneven terrain.
- Are generally fit, mobile, and comfortable being on your feet for parts of the day.
- Appreciate travelling in a small group with a shared interest in culture, food, and local experiences.
- Value a slower, more immersive way of travelling rather than rushing from place to place.
The tour is best suited to active travellers aged approximately 45–65. If you’re 65+, we simply like to have a short conversation beforehand to make sure the experience feels right for you — this is about comfort and enjoyment, not exclusion. We prioritise women travelling solo or with a friend or partner.

Request to join the Crete Tour 2026
To save your spot on the Crete Tour, you need to pay a deposit of € 850. Remaining amount of € 1775 is due Mid March 2026.

A full refund of the deposit is offered if the tour does not achieve the minimum of 8 people.
